When the bouncer Gregor collapsed and died, Grim agreed to look into the matter. He didn’t expect to be attacked in Khonsu’s lowest level. He didn’t expect to have someone trying to kill him.

And the person who, apparently, sent him a dirty package is now dead. Some would see that as a good thing. But it tells Grim that he’s making powerful enemies. The kind that clear up their mess by wiping people out.
