The Nexus Kickstarter project closes tomorrow (Saturday, midday UK time), so there’s only one day left to back the project and get this collection. Nexus is exclusive to Kickstarter—it won’t be available in any of the usual on-line stores. Click here to see how you can get a copy of this collection of three tales of connection.
Books
I have books available in Kobo’s VIP sale
If you’re a Kobo VIP member, you might know they’re running a 40% off sale until Sunday 28th April. I have three titles included: Desert Bound (ShadowTech Book 1), Shadows—The Complete Trilogy and Dominions—The Complete Series.

We did it! The ‘Nexus’ Kickstarter has funded!
A week into the Kickstarter, and it sat at 50% funded. Then it shot up. The email came through from Kickstarter—the project has reached its goal!
This means the Nexus collection will become a real thing. I’m looking into covers, and formatting the paperback version (basically amending the pdf version).
And there’s still a week to go. So if you want a copy of this speculative fiction collection (it’s exclusive to Kickstarter—it won’t be appearing on Amazon or Kobo or anywhere else), check out the project page here.

And if you’ve already backed the project, a huge thank-you. It wouldn’t have been possible without your support.
Some free books for you

The ‘Nexus’ Kickstarter project is now live

It’s finally here! A new book—Nexus. but it’s not available in the usual stores. There’s only one way to get it, and that’s through my very first Kickstarter project. Click here to check out the project page.
If you’re new to Kickstarter, a few notes:
Things change all the time. This is especially true where technology is concerned. Publishing altered when ebooks went mainstream, predominantly because Amazon made it so easy to get hold of ebooks. Today, there are loads of similar (albeit smaller) ebook stores—Kobo, Nook, Apple Books, Smashwords.
But over recent years, things have shifted. Selling and buying books through large stores is convenient, but it lacks personality. So people have been looking to other ways to connect, other ways to bring their stories in front of an audience, other ways for readers to learn of new books, read new stories and support the authors.
Kickstarter is essentially a crowd-funding system. Creators put up projects (things they want to create, often special or limited editions) and backers pledge towards their creation. Each project has a funding goal. If that goal is met (or exceeded) within a certain time-frame, the project funds—the item is created and backers receive their rewards. If the goal is not met, then the project fails to fund, and no money is exchanged.

In the case of Nexus, I’ve collated three stories that have I’ve had published in various anthologies (one novella and two short stories). I’ve re-edited these, have written author notes, and have used AI to create images.
Nexus won’t be available in any of the usual stores. It’s a Kickstarter exclusive.
I have two rewards backers can choose from—ebook or both ebook and paperback. I also have a few add-ons (including a ‘series starter bundle’ that has never before been available). The project runs until Saturday 27th April, and barring any unforeseen circumstances I should have both versions of Nexus ready by the beginning of June.
If this sounds interesting, check out the project page for more information. If you know of anyone who might be interested, let them know about it.
Announcing the upcoming ‘Nexus’ Kickstarter project

I have a new book I’m working on. It’s called Nexus, and it brings together re-edited stories that have previously appeared in various anthologies. Nexus will also include notes on the stories, as well as artwork.
This book will only be available through Kickstarter. The campaign runs from Thursday 11th April to Saturday 25th April, but the project is currently in the pre-launch stage. Click here to visit the Nexus pre-launch page and show your interest.
‘Broken Resistance’ is now out
Broken Resistance, the sixth and penultimate book in the ShadowTech series, is now out. It’s available in ebook (from all the usual places) for only 99c (or your local equivalent)—but the price rises after the weekend.
The book is also available in paperback from Amazon.

There has always been opposition to the company. But now, that resistance is shattered. The Heralds have been destroyed, revealed as a company plot all along. The remnants of the Collective are forced to flee to a lawless desert city. And with the Governor in their hands, the company manipulates the Council, setting themselves up as the only ones who can save humanity from the Ancients.
But attacking the Ancients will provoke a devastating response.
There is still hope. Deva fights to reunite the remaining Heralds. Ryann does all she can to guide the reduced Collective, while Keelin uses her NeoGen abilities to cut down the company’s agents. Brice, imprisoned by the Ancients, pushes to uncover their truths. And Piran, tech genius, just might be the one to pull this broken resistance together.
Get Desert Bound for only 99p/99c
